Field of Application

AQUA BASE 12 AP is used in garments screen printing industry as a pigment paste for ready use. The paste is prepared mixing AQUA BASE 12 AP at required ratio (upon the pantone shade and type of fabric and shade or color of fabric ground) and up to 4~8% of pigment loading with other additives in order to improve the required color and wash fastness and to achieve the soft handle pigment effect with good and brilliant look on light ground fabrics.

 

 

Background of the development

Most of the pigment pastes used in our industries are not suitable to use by machine for long time for choking screen due to containing fast drying
properties. The reason why the pigment paste used on machine requires adding anti-blocking agent or some other no drying agent to avoid choking or blocking the screens to achieve the quality of tonal print. Adding these additives some time maximizes the cost of the production. Our AQUA BASE 12 AP is an excellent product which is ready to use where the pigment effect is required with high definition detail print effects by machine. Its non-drying characteristics support finer mesh 120-130T which is very much helpful to achieve the desired quality of print on light ground fabrics.
